Kumo means cloud. House means somebody's expecting you.

We opened on a stretch of Oklahoma City that goes quiet at six, in a building that used to be a print shop. The presses are gone. The paper smell mostly isn't.

Everything on our shelf is grown inside the state, most of it inside a hundred miles. We buy in small lots because that's the only way to actually taste what you're buying, and we'd rather sell out on a Friday than carry a jar we don't believe in.

The Japanese thread isn't decoration. It's a way of thinking about restraint — one good thing, presented properly, in a room that isn't shouting at you. That's the whole brief.
